Alright, like I said its a 98 buick century 3.1 yadda yadda yadda...
puts the car in reverse last night, Went No where.... uh ok... So, put it back in park turn it off...then on again, moved maybe 7 feet and then stopped but the enigne Keep revving
and then this Horrible smell, like the smell of belts burning. My thought was transmission, But his drive wheel WAS spinning. weird! So, I'm stumped and ANY help would be greatly appreciated!
Yup, First thing I checked, second was that he wasnt trying to drive with the parking break on..... But Problem solved. the parking break was actually Locked up, which locked up the rear tires so I got under there with a big ole screw driver and pryed that one POS spring out...and Wa LA!
