3800 friends car shutoff on the highway

Like the title states my friend was driving on the highway & his car shut off he told me that when it shut off the car kept rolling & that all the lights in the intereior shut off & that they came back up ral fats like when u turn the key..can anybody help? Sorry I cant explain it better.

there was a problem with a stock pcm file that some gtp's had. they would just intermittenly shut down for no reason. try a 1.0 pcm from someone maybe?

did the battery just die? did it restart?

yeah but the thing is that the only thing that got reset was the clock on the radio.it started right up while the car was rolling of course he had to put in neutral.
