Mostly because of the price I got it for. My job gave me a monthly car allowance so I needed to find something that was in that area. Also don't like the oil consumption issues they are having on the LS2s.

I went to Darcy Pontiac in Joliet and they found what I was looking for and quoted really high on it and would not budge at all on the price. So I walked out and went to Haggerty Chevy where one of my brother's friends works, he looked throught the GMAC sale database, found the car and gave it to me for $2500 less. Only difference is that Darcy said they would have the car within 48 hours, Haggerty said 5 days. I think for $2500 less I can wait a few extra days.
