3800 WTB: Fuel Pump!

My fuel pump decided 10 years was long enough and ended its life yesterday...

Before I call the parts store I figured id check here in case anyone has one laying around.

BTW Its for a 97 GTP

Got a 3800 specific Walbro in my closet if your interested. $60. Also comes with the FP rewire.

Is it a direct replacement? How much without the rewire kit? I already have one on the shelf in the garage collecting dust.

It should. Here is the description from ZZP.

"The 3800 specific option is designed to reuse your factory L67 Venturi pump. The Venturi pump is basically a 2nd pump that is just there to keep the canister that the fuel pump resides in full of fuel. This eliminates the fuel pump from running dry around corners or under full throttle runs.



L36 cars must purchase the universal Walbro kit or purchase a used L67 canister, and then that allows the use of the 3800 specific kit.



This Walbro pump is larger than stock and will draw more voltage than the stock unit, therefore the fuel pump rewire that we offer is a required option."

Id take $40 without the rewire. IIRC the box has a new fuel filter as well in case you need one.

Well I really dont want to mess with using a rewire kit and all that crap. I just want to get a fuel pump and put it in and be done with it.

Im gonna have to pass on that. Thanks though.
