anybody have any ideas on how to figure out if a 2000 caravan should have remote keyless entry? sister just bought the van, and it didnt come with any, but the van has some of the optional equipment, but not all of it. is there a module that should be easy enough to spot?

Call the dealer, give them the VIN they should be able to tell you.

Whats the model? It SHOULD, if its not the base/bare bones model. Look in the manual and see if you can find the programming procedure for the keyless entry remotes, and see if the van will enter into/recognize the procedure.

Or, call the dealer. lol

lol yeah, i suppose could call the dealer. hate dealers tho. anywhoo, the manual does give instructions on programming, BUT you have to have at least one functioning fob to do it yourself, otherwise it says call dealer anywhoo.


it is a pretty basic model, but it does have a few extras, but not even a CD player
