I have to get a spreadsheet done today. The only thing holding me back is the requirements.

It's for a picture frame deal we're selling. There is a spreadsheet listing all the different frames and quantities. I took pics of all the frames (about 60 or so). I need to put a thumbnail in every row for each frame, but want it to expand when clicked on.

I can use the inset object or hyperlink to the file in-house, but this has to be emailed and all the pictures need to be embedded in the document somehow.

Anybody have a clue how to do this?

Hrm.....can you expand the entire row and just put the pic in one field?

I don't think you can do that in Exel...
You can type in an item # in the box and use a comment box to show the picure....

Right Click the cell you want a picture in.
In the Drop Down select Insert Comment
Right Click on the comment box (Make sure the hash marks around the border have changed to several spot surrounding the border). With the comment box showing left click the border to change the hash marks.
Right click on ther border to show the Format Control Box.
In the Fill/Color click on the dropdown arrow and select Fill Effects.
Click on the Button that says Select Picture.
Select Picture from your file
Click OK
