3800 Wiring/Electrical Gurus

I have two HD headlight harness', both of which randomly stopped working one day. They are both from SUVlights.com, and they no longer have the relays with them (took them out to get new ones and lost them). So I know I first need new relays for them (which may or may not fix them) but say that doesnt fix them, is there anyone that could figure out whats wrong with them for me? One is a 9007 HD harness, and the other is a 9006/9005 HD harness. LMK

Did they stop working when you took out the relays...or did you hotwire it to bypass the relays?

If you bypassed the relays, you probably fried the ground wire.

They stopped working, then I took them off the car, and took off the relays to replace them. But I since lost the relays, and have yet to replace them. I didnt bypass them.

It's very improbable BOTH relays would take a dump...like 1,000,000 to 1 odds!

Your source line to the relays is most likely the problem, did you check the headlight fuses?

All fuses (both in the car, and in the harness itself) are fine. The cars lighting system worked fine when back to stock.

Blah, I hate electrical.

I can replace the relays for you with some nice sealed 30 or 40 amp relays... other than that, I could remake the harness if I were able to see it.

Hmm.. Maybe I should make a trip out to Mundelein then. It would just be nice to get them working rather then to throw them out. They were only used for a couple months before they took a shit, and at ~50 bucks a pop, well.. yeah.
