I'm wondering if anybody here knows a good shop where I can take my 96 Impala to get the posi unit re-built and at the same time put a 4:10 gear on there. I called 3 places today and all want around $1200 to $1600 for the labor and parts 
.... I knew a place that wanted $575 for just the gear swap but they closed down. I'm dying to take the car to the track this year since I got new goodies on the car but with one legger burnouts I'm not gonna be happy with 60' foot times. If anybody knows an installer or shop please let me know. I'm planning to hit the track next month
