i cant seem to get my crossover (togs) to seal up, and its throwing my afr's way off. I have tried twice, with new donuts, onces with rtv and onces without, and to no avail, i cant get it. if someone would be willing to do this for me, ill pay whatever it takes. if you come to me ill pay more lol, but if i drive to you it'll be hotter than a mofo lol.

i work m-f till 5pm, anytime after that or pretty much any weekend day, but i need this done by the 18th lol. thanks guys

whats your idea for getting it fixed?

what do you think about welding a piece of flex pipe into the crossover?

not sure how to fix it, seems like it just needs to be lined up right or something...

as for a flex. im not against it, but the headers are ceramic coated, so the flex probably wouldnt look the best. as a last resort it may be needed, but i dont know how that would affect flow either...

Dan, I remember your crossover sealing points were ovaled. It's very difficult to get them to seal that way. What I ended up doing was red rtv on all mating surfaces, and let it cure before assembly. Then I went back to front, front to back tightening it down evenly. If you get new donuts, you'll have to re-round out the tubes or it'll never line up.

so let the rtv set up all the way hard (it doesnt get hard but you know what i mean), and then bolt it all together? i didnt try that, i just tried rtv'ing it and bolting it all together that way. ill give it a shot, thanks ron
