3800 keyless entry..

At one if the meets a while ago I think someone told me about a way to change it so when you lock your car the front headlights wont flash... Just the marlers and tails.. Does anyone remember that and if so How do you do it.. Thanks guys..

It has a couple dif. settings. The process involves pulling fuses and crap. Not sure if you can make it run just the markers though. If you have the owners manual I know it says how to do it in there.

So I looked it up for you (okay, so you made me curious and I wanted to know), there is no way to have it flash just the marker lights. You can disable the headlight flash or horn honk, but you can't change which lights flash.

Remote Activation Verification (RAV) Customization
Important: If the ignition switch is moved to the OFF position during this procedure, the remote activation verification (RAV) customization will terminate. The system will remain in the most recent mode.


Remove the MALL PGM fuse from the fuse panel. Refer to Electrical Diagnosis.
Turn the ignition to the ACC position. The seat belt telltale flashes and the chime bongs 1-4 times, equal to the current customization mode. This indicates which mode the vehicle is in. Each time the transmitter LOCK button is pressed, the mode number advances. A transition past mode 4 will repeat, starting again at mode 1.
If you want to customize other features, customize the features before reinstalling the MALL PGM fuse into the fuse panel. Turn the ignition OFF in order to perform the following functions:
- Exit

- Save the current customization

Replace the MALL PGM fuse back into the fuse panel. Refer to Electrical Diagnosis.
