3800 DIC bulbs

Stupid question, but how in the Hell do you get the bulbs out of the DIC. 2 of mine went out. I got the DIC apart but I can't get the damn bulbs to twist out. What's the trick?

If you talking about what I think you are that is a LED Display, there are no bulbs in there.. If there are you wowed me.. What part exactly are you talking about...

Nope, not LED. Theres just the 3 bulbs back there just like you'd find behind the instrument cluster. I got 'em out. Had to use a pair of pliars to twist them out though. The bastards have little locking tabs on 'em that I just couldn't get out by hand. Now I just have to get to a dealer at some point to buy replacement bulbs, cuz I doubt I'll find them any place else. Sucks only having 1 light in the DIC, you can barely see the thing during the day.

dont go to the dealer, go to autozone or pepboys. take the bulbs in and they are like $2 for a pack of 2.

Does autozone and crap carry them? Theyre about the funkiest bulbs I've ever seen.

yes, the bulbs pull out of that socket. give em a tug, they will come out

those look like 194's.. Where did you pull those out from???

No they are smaller then 194's The only ones that are 194's are the ones on the main gauge cluster to light up the needles and such I only think there are 3-4 of them on it.

They go behind the read-out in the DIC. Theres 3 of them for the main display, and 2 more for the "low trac" and "tcs off" lights. They're not 194's. The numbering is rubbed off but it looks like it says PC119 or something similar.
