Y 6k fish.. I hear they are brighter, but I kind of like the blue look.. whats your thoughts

I had a 8k kit and they were plenty bright. They have a bit more of a purple/blue hue to them. I would say the 8k, I always liked the way they looked better

8k looks way too purple.
6k will be fashion and function.

I you want to do the HID change over you can take a look at

There are some options that have a High/Low fuction. Basically the position of the bulb is changed to give the "look" of H/L. I just had a real hard time with spending almost $400 :angry: for headlights!

If you want a low cost test, you can go to http://www.eurodezigns.com they have pretty decent (at least I think they look good) 9007 (8500k) bulbs that you can try. One of the good things is that they have more then one color available. If I remember right blue, purple and green. Hope that helps.

6K looks blue/white. It looks white going out. Ive never been even looked at differently for my 6K HIDs.

12k are actually dimmer than 6k so they shouldn't get you flashed any more than the 6k. For that matter, any properly aimed capsule should not get you flashed.

12k is ultra violet and the color is what hurts your eyes more so then the brightness.

According to my friend who is a cop, he told me yesterday that you cant actually get a ticket for having different headlights.. If they are a kit made for your car ( Plug and play ) then by law theres nothing the state can do.. But he said hell look it up for sure.. 8k is simi white/blue so I think that would be a good look for the car..


P.S.

Im very excited, I ordered the 8k.. I should have them by friday...
