So I woke up this morning feeling much better after being sick to notice my front-left tire is flat. There is a nasty gash right on the corner of the sidewall, so it cannot be fixed. The only problem is I have 12" rotors and drive 40 miles to work everyday, so my spare won't work.
My question is...
Does anyone have a stock 16" (non-crosslace) wheel/tire that I could borrow for about a week? I will pay for the use of the tire or wash your car (as I think I'm pretty good at detailing)...
The tire I need is a Goodyear Eagle GS-C 245/50ZR/16. It runs for $198/each on TireRack (which I don't want to buy new), but I found a slightly used one on eBay for relatively cheap, so I am purchasing that one. The problem is that I won't receive it for a few days, which is why I would need to borrow a 16" wheel/tire.
I live in Palatine (NW burbs) and I'm 5 minutes from 53 & 90. My cell is 847-687-4307. I would need it by tomorrow afternoon for work on Monday.
