Not to keen on the Galant meets IS-300 ass end and lack of spoiler but I dig the Evo VIII meets G6 vibe the front end has goin' on. Overall, I think the G8 is a worthy successor to the GP. Especially since it has a real (read: manual) transmission.

i agree, a G8 GXP version would be hott!! Especially if they added a HUD to it too! Would be cool if they did something with a twin turbo setup kind of like that new BMW 3-series model... however, does Pontiac ever really do anything stock with turbo's? I can't remember... always been superchargers, right?

I'm still pissed that the G6 GTP edition does NOT include a Supercharger... I was figuring it was a run off the Cobalt model, but it turns out the G5 is more like it... but seriously, a GTP with no SC... so sad...

That is what I heard too but I think its a toned down version. I thought I saw that they are rating it around 360hp and not the 400hp like the ls2.

Yeah 362HP. I dont know if its a toned down version, I think its probably just a made made up HP figure so the G8 wont take away sales from other LS2 GM cars. Kinda like how GM rated the LS1 vettes to have ~50HP more than LS1 F-Bodys. But if it does get a LS2 it will probably be Pontiacs fastest car. That is if they dont make a new Trans AM or put a LS2 in a Solstace h34r:

The responce I got to, It Needs A HUD, was, its got navigational.. , but she said she will let the designers know that its being asked for. She wanted to know whatelse we/you wanted, I told her a BLUE version with 2 tone interior like the GTO's.
fish, you take any pics of the motors for the g8? I got a few if you want to post them.

the G8 that we all saw is pretty much what will be in showrooms, sans the hand stitched interior.... expect the wheels/tires to be an extra cost option on the GT, not standard though.


The HUD probably will not happen, since it's really a Holden, not really designed for it. I would also wonder if it will even have On*
