3800 nice restaurant in dupage?

So I was wanting to take the girlfriend somewhere nice on wednesday, but I REALLY dont feel like traveling into the city.

Anyone know any good places, I'd like to step it up a little this year (not ALOT though gotta give myself room to progress here)

Italian probabally preferred but let me know what you guys got.

Melting Pot...best date place EVER!

You'll never get a reservation at this point though. Also, it's not cheap, but it's a 3 hour meal...so no need to do anything but the restaraunt all evening. My wife and I go there on special occassions, very worth it.

Used to work there, awesome italian food, and a chill piano bar also.

Sullivan's in downtown Naperville is nice as well. Melting Pot you probably won't get into. I wanna say when we went there for v-day a few years ago it was $75 per person, but well worth it!

Capri in Naperville or Burr Ridge. You pick and choose. I know the family that owns them. Great Italian Cuisine. That says alot since I'm 100% Italian. I know what good Italian food is.

no i was saying they had no reservations open except for 4pm which is too early

claim jumper is ok, but we went there like a week ago.

We always pass it and have always wondered what it even was, so I got a reservation for tomorrow now.

What kind of dress is expected there?

Lol, then being 100% italian, you should know theres no such thing as good italian food outside of mammas kitchen! lol.

I dunno, maybe its just my retarded as, but any italian restaurant iv ever been to hasnt really been up to par to what i can make myself.

Maybe romance her with a home cooked candlelight dinner! pasta isnt that hard, and just look at a cookbook for some ideas and instructions... trust me, this will get u WAY MORE BROWNIE POINTS than taking the girl out to dinner at a restaurant. Plus, like everyone else is saying, almost impossible to get resv. now.

it was pretty cool even though they lost my reservation

they even had called and verified like 3 hours before hand.

but yeah it was a fun place, definetly was good for something different, although it is a pain getting to.

i would go again but probabally but not for awhile.
