from 8pm last night we cleaned up my garage (from all the alluminum polishing debris for the l36/67 going into the 442 ) and yanked the front engine from the 442 allofit! and now we are getting the tow dolly to haul the 442 out to storage (till 3800 is done) and get the previously pillaged GP over here for the heart transplant to continue (yay i get to splice only 14wires not too many differences between a 93 and 94 Wbodies
oh and we also scored a great shape lower valence panel for the GP while at wadsworth a week ago
sooo yeah now Al can drive two different W's and get rid of the Ciera!!!!
ohhh yeah....i cant wait to see how the 442 drives on just the rear engine
and the next time you see the 442... it will have a very purdy 3800 in the front we already have the blower case polished (working on the snout), drivers side dogbone bracket, alternator and rear tensioner/alternator bracket, water pump, Tchain cover, Tstat neck, and soon the LIM too! got the maf deleted L67 TB, started work on the heads (blocks done just doing a quick cylinder hone) then block and heads are getting hot tanked (after i finish removing all the casting flash) new cam bearings and then it's going together
this is an older pic:
once the 01GPGT harness and PCM and L36/67 are in the front we can finally get going on the rear turbo for the LN3
i love wrenchin'
Regards, James and Al
