3800 I picked up a new hood for the GTP

I bought a slp hood and it was already white, woot. This hood clears my ic with my fuel lines still going over the blower because it has more of a bulge in the center than a stock hood. LMK what you all think.

I payed $400 for the hood and I picked it up in indiana, it was a 2.5 hour ride. Not bad, eh.

I am also planning on repainting the whole front end this spring. Hood, bumper and fenders, I work at a body shop so it is pretty much all free to me, lol.

You should prime the hood again and block it out real good when you paint it. Not sure if the wavy-ness shows alot on the white, but my buddy has that hood on a GTX and the same color as mine. With the darker color you can see the waves in the fiberglass pretty bad.

I've always been a fan of the chrome or aluminium grills, but I think the black ones on the hood and bumper look good on your car.

It fits ok, being fiberglass it is not going to be perfect. The front is a little higher then what i want, but if i pull the front down more then the middle starts to bend.

GET RID OF THOSE AMBER BULBS!!!! haha, i think you can buy clear ones that blink orange. The little hint of orange in the clear corners kills me for some reason. Otherwise it's an awesome looking car.


Sorry, i dont know why but it just bugs me (the amber bulb)
