"buying 18" Casino's for it"-
if you like your tranny i would not buy these they are little over 60lbs a peice
so first mod beef up tranny-jk, but kinda serious
a good intake and a set of headers would be a nice start.
scan your vehicle before you do anything, if your car has knock or any other issues mod'ing with the wrong parts will make it worse most of the time....ie pulleys or electonics

scan
intake
plugs & wires
thermostat
headers with slight exhaust work
pulley
PT

there should really be a writeup on here, there posted everywhere else

Any +1 or +2 wheel upgrade will increase rotating and unsprung mass. In turn this will put a higher load on the engine. For a big tire and wheel package, you will need to go with heavier supporting mods to start dropping pulley sizes. You will need headers, rockers or aftermarket cam, a bigger TB, CAI/FWI, and a ported SC will help too. At that point I'd start looking at the 3.4 with the wheels. Depending on your budget, you can skip all that by going right to a full-size IC with a smaller pulley on the SC; but the car won't be up to it's potential w/o the other supporting mods. A good full-size IC with a 3.3 or 3.2 pulley will probably add close to 50-60 WHP.

Scan

Intake FWI or CAI
3" downpipe w ubend delete
pcm
3.4 pulley
colder plugs
Scan and make sure your good

After that, you can decide how much more power you want and put on headers and a good cat back. Headers are getting so cheap these days its dumb not to do it.

yea ive wanted the casinos for the longest time. then i got them it made the car look nice but you get tired of them after awhile. and yes they are most definately heavy! i went with exhaust,intake,3.4,and a custom tune. went awesome.

start with a tuning device. it will be your best mod, and will save your motor. you can probably add 20hp to the car just by tuning alone.

after that in this order:

if you can spare the cash...

cold air intake
tune
headers
tune
plugs
pulley (3.4)
tune
if you can run a smaller pulley w/o kr
tune
intercooler
tune
pulley
tune
rockers/cam
tune

dont forget to tune/scan

So a scan for sure, rims may be too big, maybe go with 17's? I have a smaller budget, i was thinking about the Performance Package from WBS. Any objections? If anybody has any used parts for sale, that would help as well. Thanks for the feedback.

well the rims arent "too big" its just if you plan on running the car on street or track i wouldnt keep them on. If your going for show then go for it they look sweet. If you want nice looking wheels but arent that heavy just do some other research and im sure you will find something in your reach.

Thanks for all of the ideas, tuning seems to stressed alot so my question is, where should go to buy a tuner?

Also, whenever i install a new part it is recomended that i tune, will i be able to this through the tuning device?
[/b]

Play it safe and start with a Modular pulley system w/3.5 pulley, Cold air intake, ubend delete, 3in Downpipe
and DHP tuner/pcm or ZZP pcm. Tuning is not so easy but is neccessary to use the most out of your mods.
