I have been having a fuel pump problem for the last few days. My GTP has 74,000 miles on it and i believe it is the origonal pump and i am running the rewire. At random times the car will not start because the pump will not prime. I tested the wires while the car would not start at the pump and they are good, also regrounded the pump rewire. I have been getting more and more kr at the top of second gear for a while now, even with adding headers and 1.9 rockers. This leads me to believe the pump is going out. But, I thought that when pumps are going out that thay slowly die and just quit. Not start to do random things. So what could it be? The pump? I dont think it is a wiring issue going to the pump.
