3800 the 442 finally did it....

[Turbocharged400sbc]

went to the paradise road cruisers show at the shaumburg AZ...
...and we won the "most appreciated" car trophy! B)

it was great...a buncha 40+year old guys (avg of maybe 50yo)
every damn one of em called us crazy and loved it! :lolsign:

we were told we HAVE to bring it to the woodfire show this saturday for Vodoo Ron to check it out...

I will post pics and vids (of the flameshooting ford custom) when i upload from my digicam...(really tired last night)

was a great night, we werent expecting a trophy but when a gentlman (that was part of the 30 odd guys oggling the 442) said dont you guys leave!

i thought he was getting his buddy to come over...lol

suprized the hell outa me and Al when they said "and the winner of the most appreciated car goes to the 94 Olds 442, the car with two engines built by two nuts"
i just about chooked on the Bday cake they were serving...

cant wait for this saturday...time to get the painted VC and intake cover on...

Oh and before the show Al and I did some work on the 68 F250 camper special
we put my 86 F150 bench seat in er' (i have lots more pics of the 35+ years of dirt etc). the 68 bench seat had a spring that was a bit anoying...

Oh and the Bday present my old man got me at a truck stop in iowa...
genuine chrome plated nude chicks (yes they even have nipples!)
on top of an old can of pennzoil...

that's all for now! i gotta get some sleep so i can finish up some work on the 442 for the car show at woodfire!

thanks for all the comments! right now my hands are numb from cleaning every nook and cranny i can get too. I guess thats one drawback to having two engine compartments to clean :lolsign:

not to mention they havent been cleaned in about a year...
