Nice ride Mike, what made you choose the V-10 over the Powerstroke?

...... What's disheartening is that I put $75.00 in the tank only to find that it filled it a bit over halfway. ....

Bunch of downers here!
My 95' F150 is my baby. It's getting a full restoration now that it won't see daily duty anymore. Oddly enough, that light truck only got 13 - 14 mpg with it's inline 6 and still towed a trailer easily. It wasn't rated to tow the trailers I pulled with it let alone the trailer and 3000lbs of car.
I did the math for how long I'll own the truck and for me the V10 was the better option. It ends up being cheaper. I'm a huge fan of the Powerstroke diesel but it just wasn't a good option for me right now.
At any rate, I can't wait to start ripping the body panels off the 95'. It should be a completely different truck by summer.

The Diesel truck would have cost more up front, Diesel holds its resale value better...
Glad to see you finally have something to tow with....

Apples to oranges... If you don't plan on keeping the truck for 250,000 miles it doesn't matter if the engine is only starting to be broken in.

Adam, that's what we're doing with the F150. It'll be running our intercooler and our ported blower.
