Does anyone have a solution for this problem, Car jerks when accelarates or know's where i can get it fixed at? also does anyone kno where i can get the trim piece for the inside of the car?

With the jerking problem you need to be more specific, meaning when does it jerk, how hard, anyother problems? It could be the transmission, could be a motor mount, could be a barrage of things.

For the trim piece we need to know what piece it is etc. One for sure source is [email protected] but some local people *might* have one depending on the piece. Also check classifieds here and post a WTB (Wanted to buy)


Basically try and be a little clearer when posting.

does it jerk with light acceleration, but not when it drops gears and goes to higher RPM's?

Do you have a SES light?? And if so does it blink?? Might be a misfire or multiple misfires.

Sorry for being unclear on that! Basically when i accelarate it jerks it's a slightly mild jerk! Say i stop at a light an then accelarate it jerks. Also the trim piece i was looking for is the piece just above the door panel for a 97 GT

Is the jerk a big vibration? Like something moves and then comes to a sudden stop. For example, it feels like the engine moves backwards and stops suddenly, which jerks the car. Or is it like your car is getting a 20 hp jolt and jumps forward?
