3800 What's the fastest?

1.) What's the fastest 3.4" pullied GP? ET-wise and trap speed-wise - Alot of you guys know questions like this.

2.) Hypothetically if i added TOGs or S&S headers thus lowering the boost, would it slow the car down, or would i have a higher trap speed?. I understand a DP works similar. ie; At higher RPMs, so it would also apply to headers, right? Mostly/more effective in the upper RPM ranges..

I think around 13.6 or so some guy just pulled a [email protected] on clubgp with just a 3.4", 3" dp w/ ubend/catalyc delete, no internal mods.

IIRC David Mueller from St Louis ran 13.3-13.4 with a 3.4" this year.

Trap speed is really an indication of actual HP, if you are making the motor more efficient, your traps will be higher.

did you want guys with no internal mods or guys with internal mods to? of course some guy with heads/cam/headers/pcm tune/3.4" pulley is going to be hauling ass and making like 5lbs of boost.
with thos mods you could probably still pull off a 12.8/9

for most people rockers are an easy job. springs seem to be the bitch part of it
and lots of people run 1.9s and no springs.
besides the valve covers they are on the outside of the motor so thats not alot of internal

I would say rockers qualify as a 'bolt-on' because it's a top end engine part.

3.4" pulley, INTENSE (KR) PCM, and 180* thermo as my ONLY mods, stock everything else down to the airfilter, and I ran a 14.244 @ 97.88.. I also added more 3.4" supporting mods and was not any faster on the next 2 outings. Lame. Always cut 2.0 60 ft's so it wasnt my launching.

and syp i know zoom changed pulleys the day of the race
and HPP mag did a small article in the same one charles showed off his turbo 04
they said 3.1 after inteviewing him

Impressive, did he have any weight reduction? My car ran a 14.6 @ 95 with a 2.2 60' with just a intake. Car was 100% street trim, and I even left the headlight in. Its too bad I never got to run it with the 3.4 pulley and the other stuff. I would have loved to see that car do 13's.
