3800 Cousins 06 stang GT DYNO

So today my cousin dyno'd his 06 Mustang GT. It is Hardtop Manual. It has under 6000 miles on it. It was done on a mustang dyno.

All it has is an Intake and the predator tune that came with it. cost $550

It dyno'd at 317 RWHP and 313 TQ

We were sooo shocked. We were expecting 295 at best. So I guess the new stangs are somewhat underrated OR the intake and tune made it a monster!

We also dyno'd our cousins 03 Procharged Z06. 580 RWHP that shit on our parade. It also needs a little more tuning.

It wouldn't surprise me if Ford did underrate the motor with the Cobra fiasco a few years ago.

I also think that for insurance purposes, they under rate the car.

Tunes from the factory are usually quite conservative. They usually have mileage and emissions in mind when those tunes are set.
