3800 fenderwell intake or Thrasher

I'm sure everyone has an opinion on this subject - Should i just keep my Thrasher or take the time and build a fenderwell intake like this one:

You should build a homemade FWI like that one, and make me one too.

ive head 4 dif intakes, well designed homemade one or the speed built intake will be best.

there isnt going to be a huge power gain over the thrasher. it just the thrahser heat soaks and then stays hot. if the motor is cold and you remove the head light for the track you should be with for the thrasher. street use, the FWI is better. extend your iat also

I've had a CAI and a speedbuilt FWI, the FWI doesn't heat soak as much if you're sitting in traffic and it doesn't make as much noise when you're at WOT.

after the hassle installing chads in a complete down pour, i would of rather of not of sold it at all. his old one was such a POS that voytec threw it into the neighbors yard in anger,where it still sits. it isnt even worth picking up <_< :lolsign:
