I was talking with another member and he brought up a good point.. If I wanted to cut out my A/C what would I have to do.. Just get a smaller belt??? anyone know what size??? And if I did this would it make the car run better??? more power with no A/C??? Wwould the car still make heat in the winter???

so not worth the energy, unless its drag only,its more weight loss, same belt i belive. if you want to go that route w-bodystore has them pretty cheap

You can also consider the stattama setup:

That allows you to bypass the A/C without having to remove it.

When the AC is off and the clutch is disengaged, there is only an insignificant amount of drag. Not worth messing with.


Removing the AC is one thing, bypassing it seems like a ricer mod to me - all theory and no reality.

turn it into a vac pump like ron was talking about, make power out if that pulley spinning
