on the way home from taking the girl out to eat... me and my buddy (with the supercharged 2001 mustang GT) (we are in 2 seperate cars) are dickin around on the road..
Behind us at a red light (behind him actually) is a new 2005 stang GT. I drop a rev, and he does a full out rev at me.
At this point my buddy in his 2001 gt is gettin all excited because the 2005 wants to race me..
So the light goes green (me and 2001 stang,.. my buddy).. we take off easy and race from 35mph.. i get my downshift first and pull hard until 60mph where he walks by me until 80mph where he has 1.5 car lenghts on me.... a 460whp stang barely beating me???
So the the 05 gets right on my ass and follows me. I turn left onto this road that we always race on, and motion for him to follow me..... he pulls next to me at about a 20mph roll... i yell if he is auto or manual.. he says auto... i hear him downshift to 1st gear. We go on 3 honks (i put it in "1" as well)
on the third honk we both get into it, me pulling ahead about 1 car by 50mph... he starts his pull in 2nd gear (my 2nd gear still sucks for some reason???)... once he hits third he starts to fall back again... yes i know hard to believe.... we end the race at about 95mph right after i shifted into 3rd.
We slow back down to about 30mph, he says he wasnt ready, so we go again... third honk.. this time he SLIGHTLY jumps the gun... barley anything.. he started in 1, and so did I... i passed him by 40mph, he started to pull again.. not getting passed my drivers door.. once he shifted into 3rd, i started to pull again by 2 cars at 90mph.
i am very impressed how my POS kr car did against a 3v.
They are known to run just as good times as the prev gen mach 1's.
If i woulda know i was racing.. i woulda brought the camera
