I went to the dealership and they looked at me like i was a dumbass, where do u get them???

Ive gone to several dealerships. If they dont understand, tell them they are orange and are on the rear springs to keep them from compresing durring shipping. They are usually just thrown away. It took me 3-4 stealerships to find a set. And I had to tell the guy that I would dumpster dive for them if he didnt give them to me. :lolsign:

the crystal lake dealer had a bunch when I was there.. Try them...

there is only enough made for the amount of GTOs that were made from 04-05
they are no longer getting in 04-05 new GTOs from the factory
i was told 06s didnt bother even putting them on for shipping
so the ones you can find are the last of them. most of dupage and cook are all cleared out. goodluck

would it be possible to make some? I have a friend with a set but i dont remember what they are made of. So if i can find that out i might trace them and find a good material or one similar and make a set.

dont bother. many have tried, wonder why no vendor ever did it. its a small gain and making them out of any kind of metal will break or bend somthing. i think some sort of poly that the GTOs are made of, they are kinda flimsy tho...for a reason. just keep an eye out on club gp. fall is coming and people trade cars in wait for a de-mod.
