3800 Computer memory..need some recommendations

1. for my PC..I have one gig currently (2 x 512 of this Memory ) Its out of stock right now..

anything anyone really likes? Or should I wait for it to come in stock again? I have 2 open spots for memory stick and can only add 1 Gig more.


2. Laptop Memory

I know nothing on laptop memory...

This is what I got off the stick in my Toshiba Laptop (Model Satellite A105-S2712)

512 MB  DDRII 533 FSB

512 MB 2rx16 Pc2-4200s-444-12-A3

Thats what is on the stick in it...I was told when i bought the laptop I can upgrade to 1 Gig total..but Im not positive....soemone else told me I can max it at 2 Gig..Any clue as to how I could find that out? I dont know where to begin to look online

Goto www.newegg.com to buy ram. There prices are good and there service is great, I built my whole computer from this site.

Goto the computer manufactures websites to find out what kinda ram and how much your system takes.

well my desktop is custom built...I have crucial now like I said, but its outta stock...was looking for suggestions on something different

and I found my laptop can hold up to 2 gig thru the toshiba website

CORSAIR, and Kingston are good brands of ram. Im running Kingston HyperX in my system right now.
