3800 Moped, motor scooter

I have been thinking of buying something to get me to and from work. It is pointless for me to drive my GP. I rode my bike the distance to work today and it takes me 35 minutes. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with mopeds or motor scooters. I want to buy something used and that is cheaper than $500.

Anyone own one? or know of anywhere to find used ones?

i was thinking the same thing like getting a used vespa, those things get 50-65 MPGs

yeah, I was looking for something with a 50cc motor. Not quite as big as a vespa. Anything to beat 15 mpg every day.

wanna know how i know? I go to dans house everyday.. so when i fill up.. i AVG 23mpg to his house.. and its right passed where you work
