Alright guys, it's time to get rid of a toy. Up for sale is a 1993 Katana 600. The bike is in very good condition cosmetically (8 out of 10) and perfect condition mechanically. The bike is completely void of all stock graphics other than the "Suzuki" logo however in some spots you can see little lines at the edge of where the graphics were torn off. You really have to look close to notice them and I beleive they will just rub out but I haven't done it myself.
Mechanically the bike needs nothing other than to have the chain lubed. The pads are new EBC race pads. The brakes on this bike stop like you wouldn't beleive. Tires are in good shape and should be fine for a good deal of riding for the rest of the season.
The bike has 12,500 miles on it. It books out at $2350.00 with 17,500 miles on it. This bike has 5000 less miles than the book value appraises it at. It's condition shows it as well.
As for rideability, the bike is awesome. Unlike most sport bikes you don't have to kneel over the gas tank all the time. This bike allows you to sit straight up for cruising and also kneel over the tank if you want to go wild. It's a fun bike with plenty of power, especially on the expressway.
My asking price is $2200. I have a clean title and the bike is ready to go. Given the bike's engine size and it's class insurance is rather cheap. I'm currently paying ~$500 a year with full coverage $0.00 deductable and I'm younger than 25 and single.
