It's a bot... A script usually. There is an easy way to eliminate their presense. You can use image verification (a picture is displayed with characters that need to be input in a box) or you can use email verification. Both will thwart the bots as they don't know how to type or send email responses...

yep it's a bot.. and it does post a url.. as an advertisement.. but we have edited them out.. so they don't get what they want...

and I did start a verification process.. didn't think we needed it.. but guess we do..
