I was out cruising earlier in the t/a and I spot a 98+ black t/a I pull up next to him and hes got exhaust and a badge on the side of his car that says 427.. I'm like pfft.. must be a ricer

we both roll into it once I got around 50mph I punched it he layed into maybe 2 seconds after I did.. we both spun pretty bad by 62'ish we hooked and he started putting cars on me :( 3 cars at 90, 6 cars at 120... I've NEVER had a car walk away from me like that he must have had 770+ hp

Dam that's a powerful car. DO you think he had the new ZO6 motor in that bad boy with some mods?

possibly if it was the stock 427 in the new z06 he would of lost I've beaten a stock z06 by a couple cars.

I personally don't like the 427's they have ALOT of stroke which limits rpm capability and it puts a lot of stress on the block I can't see a motor like that lasting a long time.

I had a feeling you could rip a stock ZO6. That's why I threw in the modded scenario.

What year Z06?? The C6s are running mid 11s stock and getting cunthairs close to 10s with minimal mods.

it was the 2005+ style

the 383 I have isn't exactly slow... powerband is 3600/7100'ish and with 2.73 gears it rips on the highway..

cam is big and its a solid roller thats all I'm saying about that

heads are cnc'd afr's (they flow 288/220cfm at .600)

defenitly not low 11's probably mid/high 11's I'm thinking

What kinda times is your car runnin?

Maybe he sprayed on you?

The few times I used the bottle it almost made me crap my pants how fast the car was.

It seemed as if every shift was within a second of each other and I almost couldnt keep up.

I don't know really.. I don't drive it all that often.. I'm not working right now I'm trying to finish college this year..
I can't afford to fix something when it breaks and that's a when not a if.. it likes to destroy pinion gears and snap axles.

I need a ford 9bolt rearend or a 12bolt which is like 3k..

I don't want to post the hp figures here so thos idiots on chitownracing get ahold of them but it makes more then 500ft trq and that with the troque multiplication you get from a 2800rpm stall its going to break parts.

the t/a sounds good, id love to see that on the highway. i destroyed my first c-5 from a roll at 65-120 two nights ago, i was amazed to see how slow those things are on the top end...arnt they supposed to be "highway monsters". the new c-6s i would not even mess with, there rumble when taking off on the highway is enough to to tell "dont even bother"
yeah dont break anything before summer
