They couldnt give the 97+ an auto tranny that could hold the power.

I know someone from clubgp got ahold of a G6 manual tranny and was trying to make it work for the L67. I havent seen anything from that for a few months though.

I doubt that G6 tranny will hold.... Too much torque....

There was a huge debate about it on clubgp. Yes, stock the tranny most likely wouldnt like the torque. The stock 4T65E-HD doesnt like the torque either. Tranny suck for these cars.

Im suprised no one has tried to get a 4T80E under these hoods.
