3800 Belts...

I was at the dealership tonight cause my belts were making some loud squeaky noises, Sinr247 heard the noises but told me they sounded normal, we'll anyhow.. this oil change guy heard my noise, grabbed a bottle of "Howl's Oil" sprayed it on the belts and noise was gone!! Sounds great now!! Anybody know where to get this great stuff?

Secondly, he noticed my Serpentine belt is cracked in multiple places, I called Autozone which is open 24hrs (2555 W Touhy Avenue Chicago, IL 60645 773.764.5277) and they said their were TWO belts in their system, one for the Supercharger and one for the water pump... I assume the water pump one is the main belt? Suprisingly, both are only about $20... so why do the dealerships want like $60 for them? Or is this the wrong belt?

Lastly, do people know how to change these out at the mod day? That'd be great!!

well just get the belt size off of zzp they have the size chart on there and bring it over to autozone. i will be doing that tomarrow as well because my belt is worn and i can install the belt its easy.

belts are super easy to install. all you need is a 15mm i believe. if you need help let me know i can do it for you.
