3800 Anybody wanna race a VQ35 Auto Maxima?

This guy I know claims he pulled 5 cars from a stop against a GTP. I dont belive his stock (well now he has a cat-back) auto VQ35 Maximia is that fast. Probably a high 14 second car at best. I wanted to race him in my GTP, but I never got the chance. Anyone want to run him?

I would like to see his GTP killer maxima pull 5 cars on even a stock GTP.

cool, thanks for all the interest. It would be nice to have the most stock looking GTP race him. I will talk to my friend (who works with him) and see if we can get something togo down. I just dont believe he can say "I pulled 5 cars on my friends GTP, GTP's are slow". Even a GT would lose less than that right?

Is this what the 05-06 maximas are? My buddy has an 05, completely stock. He ran 14.8 I believe at Byron last fall. They're pretty quick cars. Don't really care for the styling all that much, but a very nice car.

Well my friend who works with the maxima driver has been asking him to race a GTP. He maxima driver gave these excuses a few days ago.

"I dont want to race a GTP, thats a waste of gas"
"The pontiac might break down right before we race"

idk if you remember this thread correctly but im looking for a GTP to race the guy because he says there slow and his maxima pulls 5 cars on them. Hes not talking shit about MY car, but he is talking shit about my previous car.

I doubt my GT could handle a VQ. Maybe for an 1/8 mile. Probably not the 1/4 though.
