LOL im not the only one with this problem!

Rain sucks when the wiper is stuck halfway up the windsheild.

Might want to try Ed Morad...

worse yet, it turned so the 'park'/bottom position was half way up, and when the arm turned, it was trying to go off the edge of the a pilar

ed wants $20 shipped, or i can go straight to dealer and pay $30 and have it in hand ASAP...

SOOO

trying to decide if i should put something on the splines to help the grip stay. (motor splines look a little worn, but should still be OK

LOL...not only do we have the same problem but the same idea to fix it.

What I did was took some small wire and wrapped it around the motor pin that sticks up then mashed the arm on top if it and cranked the bolt down as tight as I could. it worked great for a while but its loose again....

wrap the stud with electrical tape, put the wiper arm on and crank it down. Use a pic to clean out the grooves when you get the new arm. You can also carve "grooves" int the arm with a file for more grip into the electrical tape. My bosses nephew drove around like this for 2 months of the winter.
