3800 TINT TINT TINT

Previous owner put on Tint on the car... he said 35 front and 20 rear... but it looks more like 50 front and 35 rear.


I want to get Straight 20% all around, What places do you know of will take off tint and re-apply tint around here for a decent price?

If that dont work I have a guy who does all my cars and my friends cars.. He did my car for 175 OTD.. I got all 5 2.5%... Let me know...

I went to see Midco today, 150 for my coupe, and he is installing it Friday.

You will love it John. Ive had my midco tinting for 3 years on my GP and my sisters camry has had it for 4 and both look like the day he put it on.

Don't really know the difference, but he did not have any lasers at his shop. So I would assume regular!

thats where I'm bringing all my cars.

regular tint is done in strips in the back window. laser cut is one piece. My employee got his done at a place down here for 210 and its perfect like glass.

Midco isnt laser cut I believe, but it is one piece. The guy there knows his shit. Ive seen 2 other cars ontop of the 2 I had done there and they all look like the day it was installed. Plus the price is hard to beat. I dont see where there is anymore to think about.

IIRC he told me 160 for all 7 of my windows since I have a 4 door. Might be cheaper for a coupe.

Over the brake light. He removes the seat and rear panel to get to it. Its about a 2 hour job.

other guy he pre messures and takes out 3rd break and back seat and all he both do great jobs

YEAH, That sounds like a deal to me.. If you got your windows done for 160 and it is a 4 door I say di it.. It should be less for a 2 door... DAM.. Now I feel like I over Paid...

Yeah I got my car tinted from Midco tinting and it is just perfect all the way around. It was worth the drive and for 150 you cant beat that for a lifetime warranty.

Forgive me for reviving an old thread, but...

Chipmonk, did you get tint down here in the Kankakee area? If so, where did you go? I went to Pacesetters today in Bradley to get the GTP tinted, and they said that their tint guy up and moved out of state, and that it'll be 4 weeks before they can tint cars again as their training a new guy. Frankly, I don't want to be the new guy's on-the-job training, so I'm looking for somewhere else to go that does a great job.
