Anyone like to check out susposed haunted places or just places that are abondon. My friends and I goto places like these all the time. We dont distroy or vandalize them, we just walk around and take pics.

The house on Cuba/Rainbow Road. After tons of research I have concluded that there is nothing haunted here, it was just a old farmhouse property. In like 1999 the supposed haunted house back behind the gates was burned down, the barn and the silo were still left till about 2004. Now they are building huge expensive homes on the property.

Ive also been to Shoefactory Road a few times, there are some interesting places on that street.

Abondon house also on shoefactory Road, ive her alot of storys about the wareabouts of this house, idk which one to believe. Most of them involve some sorta killing.

Anyone who has drove on I-90 outwest to Rockford has seen this place, its called Shireland. It was a park with nothing but horses. It was open for like two years then closed down and has been sitting abondon ever since. My friends and I have been there numerous times. Ive even hurd there was a pornstar and a photographer back there one day taking pictures.

I guess the owner of the park "Tom Smart" invented a spray can that you could spray upside down. A barn right next to I90 was filled with his product. And people wonder why the park was vandalized.

Ive went to a Forest Preserve in Willowbrook. (I think) There is alot of cool and abondon shit deep in the woods.

This is a old abondon factory really close to my house it was located in Arlington Heights. I found out about this place from a friend of a friend. He said it was a abondon factory and all you have todo to go inside is open a door on the side. So my friends and I went there, went to the side of the building and sure enough it was unlocked and we went inside. We walked around checking out the place for like a hour it was huge with a basement, warehouse, offices, and boiler rooms. Sorry no pictures from the inside we only went there once and didnt bring a camera. The abondon factory is now torn down.

The best place I have ever explored has to be Lakehaurst Mall in Waukegan. It
was the biggest mall in Lake County before Gurnee Mills, and it was completely abondon. Im not sure of the closing date, but it was atleast 5 years ago. Ive went there tons of times, but sadly have ZERO pictures of the place, nothing but memorys. We walked all around the abondon mall. Inside story, bathrooms, offices, we went on the roof, we even found a jail. We would chill in the abondon mall for hours and just walk around. If anyone knows of any other cool haunted or abondon places to check out let me know I love to goto places like these. If you know anything about some of the places I went too let me know. I want to hear some storys.

Im not sure the city its in. But the park is called Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, its around Argonne Labs.

Naw, your way off. Its located in Hoffmin Estates like 15 min from my house. Im almost sure its still there, I saw it a weeks ago, its probably been there for 100 years.

Actually, those building are old pumping stations for the city of Lisle. Hence the LPS on the front of them - Lisle Pumping Station.

People would call those "orbs" but I think its just mosture in the air that the flash cought.

over by oakbrook i believe off frontage road near the highway used to be a waterpark, i could of sworn you went and visited that area once? if so, can you post the link or pics of it? I remember it from when I was a kid... also, santas village is now abandoned with racing rapids next to it, has anyone snuck in there to look around? haha...

In HS, A guy my friend knew actually owned the house next to the entrance to BG. He let us party there and all and at nigh t a few of us walked through his back yard and into the forest to BG cemetary.

Very creepy at 1am on a SAT night!

And yah, those orbs in his pics are most likely mositure/dust, which is what 99% of such pics are.

I've seen real unexplained orbs of light...that's when it gets creepy...hundereds of the buggers...and they're not fireflies...

I cannot locate the pics i took when i and Nick (saturdaysGS) went to Resurrection cemetery, Maple Lake and Fairmount Hills cemetery.. Orbs that weren't just dust or moisture in some images. If i can, i will post the pics up, or do a search from last year for them

X2, Ive never even attempted to goto bachelor's grove cemetery just because of the fact its all over the internet and so many people know about it. Cops probably roll past that area every hour.

I have been to BG on halloween a few years back. There were cops all over so we just parked dow a side street and waled in the back way of it. Its a cool place on halloween tones of people there and other strange stuff. Also When Shireland was open I think It was only 1 year But I was there and drive past it from time to time now. It is almost gone everything is falling down. I might stop in there next time I am up there and take a few pictures.

There really is no where to park xcept for private property or the forest perserve.......the rest of it in on a VERY buys road with now shoulders....

We all past Shireland when we went up to the Mod weekend... I've seen pictures of people who have been in there... I've always been interested in trains and have seen pictures of cars and an engine I think in one of the remaining shelters, where everything is covered by plastic wrap... the person who took those rode their bike, so I think they hid inside the shelter with the bike so nobody saw them... but anyhow, I'm curious if anyone has even considered trying to start or run the train at all? If it even powers up or what not, might be fun to see...
