I was following a thread on here and ClubGP from J/O about his FPR causing high fuel pressure. I figured since im at the 127k mark, I should probably remove and make sure its all clean n clear. How do I go about doing this? I know I will need to depressurize the fuel lines/rails, thats easy enough, but then what?

I will also be replacing the fuel filter so I've got that covered.

Thanks

You will need a snap ring puller or very skinny needle nose pliers to take the ring out. After that, twist and pull. The filter on the regulator is very fine and its hard to take out any debris. Might as well install a new one for $40 - IMO.

Lube up the o ring for reinstall.

if your replacing it, there's nothing really to mess up, but you may have a point on waiting cause rule of thumb when working on your car....if something can break at the worst possible time, it will. Oh and noone will have the part you need to replace no matter how common it is, thats the other one.
