3800 Cabin air filter....correct size?

I just got a cabin air fiter and told the guy to give me the REGAL type......had to explain it to him and all.....

Anyway, Its about 8" by 9" and I wasnt shure if this is correct? I didnt think the filter was that big?

Did I get the right one? I got it for a 98 regal and I have a 99GTP.....he said there is no 99 Regal.


To install I just take the wiper cover off and its in there? Link?

Did all GP's come with the cabin air filter? I have an '01 and its not there. Was wondering if it was some stupid option that was available, or they just ran out on the assembly line when my car came by.

Anyone have a part number? Or can it be found in the books at the parts store?
