Listening to the power of that V-8 scream,
As you shift from first to second you can feel that rush,
With those tires hooking up there’s no need to say mush,
The RPM"S souring as the performance increases,
Listening to that monstrous scream that those mufflers releases,
Making other cars bow cuz they know you'll tear them to pieces,
Losing them with the push of the gas when ever your heart pleases,
There is clearly 1 man willing to stand up to the Z28,
See this is one CHALLENGE that I refuse to not participate,
0-40 you will be mine 60-80 I might need a bottle,
Cuz with you I know you'll be pushing nothing less than full throttle,
You treated your car with nothing but pride,
All the talking we did proved that you would never hide,
You always told me your car was a monster and I'll suffer her fury,
I always told you to shut up and buy a Grand Prix,
But fait intervened and paused the race of the century,
I wish I could line up right now with you and your Z,
Looking in your eyes with that BIG ass SMILE on your face,
Telling me to try really hard to keep up with your pace,
So you say your hitting 12 well then my goal is 11,
Bottom line buddy, we'll still run em you and me on the track in heaven...
