well since i sold my sound system i have 1k to blow into the car! as you all kno i just finished up my looks i have gmpp springs on order and ill be all set. Heres what i wanted to do to the car.

1. WBS Port n Polish Supercharger with Throttle Body package
2. zzp XP cam
3. WBS full IC or the ZZP full IC.
4. save it and do all this stuff at once... which wouldnt be for awhile.

what would the gains on the PnP s/c with the tb be?
when these all get done eventually what would i have to worry bout most tranny?

I like doing stuff piecemail the reason being is that cars never seem to run right after making a bunch of changes. The VS3 Supercharger is awesome. I have new pictures up to show what they look like http://wbodystore.com/wbody/product_info.p...e82a6f0f5e59fbd

It's better mated with a 75mm throttle body however.

Cammed and intercooled and you'd have a fun car.

I agree with Mike, do one thing at a time. I would go for the VS3 blower and 75mm throttle body, it will definately wake the car up.

WHy not an IC and bring some temps way down?

I remember when I was dediding cam or IC, everyone told me to go IC first.

An IC would have to give wayyy more HP per dollar the a polished SC?


I know the IC I had turned the car into a beast...even without any tuning. B)

I was cammed and no i/c for along time, and it was a blast, now with the i/c its a beast. Ive been piecing together my setup for 5 years. Its more fun, and wiser to take it slow, rather then all at the same time..imho.

Plus doing it a little at the time allows you to pace yourself and set smaller goals which you attain more often, rather than waiting and waiting and waiting....

i would say, go with an ic...xp was the best mod i have, however it would not have reacted as well without an ic...and i only have the ssic. go with the wbs so it will fit under any hood!

Well, when I was talking to Zoom, he said to go with a IC over a cam first.

Why not go w a cam or ic and then go ported SC/etc?

I thought the ported SC really doesnt add to much unless you are pretty damm modded with a cam or IC.

Im a little outa the loop these days but I find it hard to believe that the SC will give you the type of power the IC or cam will. I say do those then get the SC or a built up trans.

I do agree on not throwing together 3-4 heavy mods and then starting the car. It will be hard to find the problem if things dont go well.

Because to do the Gen V swap you need the blower, lower intake, and throttle body adapter. Average cost for all these parts is $1000.

i decided just to go with the PnP S/C and TB package i want to do IC and Cam but i think ill hold of as next years project dropping as much as i did into a car at my age on my own i think is incredible... but mike k. Let me kno when i can do this and the total cost cuz im all set.
