3800 DR rental

im planning on going to 66 tomorrow and was looking for some drag radials to rent from someone for the day. I'll probally only get 3 passes on them but would like to see what my car will do with traction.

are you planning on changing them at the track? or driving there with them? i have a set of mt et street radials...could use some extra cash...but one rim is bent slightly, at cruising theres a small vibration, but theres no problems when your WOT. got me some 1.81 60's with only a ssic and 3.2

From my experience with them, you really have to warm them up. Since they arent really the "street" verison, they are more just for putting on at home and driving to the track and back. As per any drag radial, I imagine. I want to see what Eric can get out of his car with them on.

well the first run I hooked GREAT. 1.9 60 foot. yeah it felt great.
2nd run i did the same burn out but the tires broke loose and i went towards the wall. I let up and kept going...still traped over 100.
My wasn't on so i got gobs of kr all over the place.
im going to find out why now.
i have an idea but its kind of out there (has to do with the ground)

it was a ground problem.... Its going to be fixed in the next five mins.
if i can run a 13.7 with 10-14* of kr i think i will do quite abit better with 0.
im going next weekend...sat for t&t and my first (highschol points) race.

yeah but, didnt you run a 13.8 with it working, and arent you running alot of timing. so basicly with thats what you would run with normal timing

yes i ran a 13.8 with so many things not going my way (including a stock tune).
Im running quite a bit of timing but it droped down ALOT at most points. I will post the scan later.

13.8 was WITH the alky working pre tranny. 13.8 was also with a tune so bad...i would of been better off with stock.
