3800 TURBO CAM

When is the turbo cam going to be available for the cartunnin kit anyone know. Plus i was wondering what kind of mods would you reccomend on my 03 gt with cartunnin turbo kit with the PT-61 upgrade and 3' cat back exaust and new fuel pump thats all i got..... i also want to do some trans work all opinions would be great money not an issue been saving. THAnks

I can get u a built tranny for 2500 bucks.....

PT-61 Turbo + Turbo Cam = More than just "some" trans work.

ZZP builds a good transmission. Also, I have heard dynotech builds a good transmission also. Stattama has 3 or 4 varieties of turbo cams, if you dont want to wait. You probably going to max the 42.5s that come with the kit if you go with a good size cam. May want to talk to Kevin at CT and see if you can get 60s instead.

umm dont advertise something that is expensive.

and chad your tranny place does not focus on 4t65 trannys and do not use the same clutchs as zzp, for what you need we dont have many choices .....were stuck with zzp if we want it to last even some what

Id feel a little better about modbug. Zooomer has said that modbug works with ZZP and dynotech IIRC.

The car tuning cams are still being tested. The guy wants to make a few changes still but he is pretty sure they are close to what he wants. You should see them around shortly. FYI I got this from Brandon (knievel on clubgp) who is basically the main cartuning guy with the kit out there at the moment.

so your suggesting a new trans from zzp. how much does that cost to install?? plus what kid of other mods should i get if i wanted to wait for that cartunning turbo cam.

well instal is free but you have to drive up to zzp to have it done.

and as far as waiting on the cam i wouldnt buy heads or any of the cam install stuff until the cma is actually out so you wont just have money laying around.

instead I would invest in a tuner if I were you.

Email ZZP about the trans and tell them your goals. They will give you a list of suggestions. That would be the easiest route.
