3800 Anyone able to?

Anyone able to replace both lower ball joints, and a drivers side axle? for a nominal fee, of course.

I went to a couple of places for estimates, and well, the labor is what is killin me in the prices they were giving.

Ron Vogel is pretty good you should contact him. Those ball joint can be a pain sometimes. You have to drill out the 3 studs that holds them on each controller arm. It'll a be alot easier to buy two Control arms assembly they all come complete. Hell AutoZone probably can order them cheaper than the Dealer.

Hmm, so two (lower?) control arms (L & R) would be better then. Sounds good as these stock ones are probably well worn out. Thanks Lee & Phat ridegt

bigsam and me just replaced my lower left one......PITA but it would be alot easier the 2nd time around. i was quoted 250....we did it for the cost of parts (50)

You can get a whole new control arm for 100 shipped.


Its not that hard of a job to swap the arms out. Real PIA to just take the ball joint out...........

Do the whole control arm and get new bushings as well.

Bushings? I'm not to familiar with suspension components, so what bushings do I need? The control arms dont come with them?
