ive heard there is a very cheap and effective way to do that with out the tool....maybe bumpin or Ron want ot chime in

There probably is, but for a hundred bucks, this thing is very accurate and simple to use.

Why do you need to do that? For a smaller pully....what size are you putting on?

I will be running the 2.8 at the track this year. Under the 2.8 you need to turn down the snout for it to fit. I was hoping to have the intercooler by now, but have to wait until later this year, then I will drop under the 2.8. The new tranny is on my list also.

is the pulley depth preset, or can you make it as thin as you want to? Not the length, I read z's response about the marker.
