3800 Trans Fluid Exchange

I am going to change my trans fluid and filter this week and was wondering with my car having 90k miles on it. Should I stick with dexron III or go with VI. Is it safe to change like that or not.

With a car with 90K miles. I hear its bad todo a trans flush. Your best bet is to just drain the fluid install a new filter and add new fluid via a pan drop. I would also use the VI fluid, it just came out and its new so its gotta be better than the Dextron III.

Yeah I wasnt planning on flushing it out just dropping the pan and changing the filter. I was just wondering if it would be fine to put the new dexron VI in the car.
