i just thought i should share this.. i was almost hame from buying my tog's from brookfield and was around carbondale exit on I-57S and this blue 4door car comes up with his buddy looking at by gtp badge and shaking his head up and down like it is lets get him .. so we slow down to about 50 and we slowly speed up to about 60 and he jumps on me by about a half a car then i put it down and by the time i hit 110 i was about a half car ahead of him.. i wish i could have stayed in there cause he might have been pulling back slowly but i had to shut it down and take my last exit to marion. <_< i could see the pain in their faces as i pulled away from them..lol. it was the same model as the 2000 audi s4. by the way only have 3"from 3/4 down pipe all the way back to flow masters and 5" chrome tips, k&n drop in filter and air box mod.. just think the headers were in the back seat.. if they were on man i really would have smoked him :lolsign:

I normally wouldn't do thiss, but...I have to call BS or he was just playing with you.

My brother in law has an S4 with just a chip, and it's very, very fast...like high 12's fast, and it's not a drag racer; more of a highway terror.

He had an A4 before with the 1.8 turbo/awd, and it had some work to it; now that was a mid 14 sec car.

The S4's are a whole other animal, the V6 cars come with 330hp stock. I think the new V8s are over 400!

there is a non turbo, signle turbo, and TT model isnt there? my friend with a high 13sec dsm raced one mid range and beat it...it was like a 01-02 or something and was a single turbo...i would imagine if he caught him on a bad shift or something its possible, but i dont know much about those cars.

v8's have 320 hp, my boss has one. and yes there is a tt model its the 2.7 bi-turbo.
single turbo's in the 1.8 version are the normal A4's, GF's mom has one

I was thinking it should have beat me too but it didnt by the way I got the model of of cardomain i had to look through their models until i found the blue 4dr audi .. by the way if there is a other car that looks just like by audi it could have been I seen the side and the front.. never the back B)

Ron, a bone stock S4 is not that fast. the MINUTE you add a chip to it..it gains 43hp. my mom loves her audi...I've been dieing to throw a chip in it.

Just like most cars it depends on the year. My buddy HAD a 2000 S4 and ran 14.0 bone stock. 2006 S4 340HP 6spd AWD 3900LBS who knows?

Yeah, I looked at the specs...I see I'm wrong.

But, my brother in law's TT V/6 was way faster than 14.0, so I guess the chip really helps!

I saw i believe a audi wagon at byron run several 12's in a row. I cant remember what the model was but the launch was its key.

Yeah with mods those cars can be monsters. They can easily hit 11's with some mods.

The 2.7 biturbo is not that fast stock. I drove one for a few months on my permit. Bad turbo lag. That is why they got it out of the s4 and put it in the a6. Now they got rid of the engine all together. Im sure a chip would of been awesome. My car would of beat it stock.
