3800 what would be affordable,and work

im going to be looking into some rims and drag radials, im running a stock trans and dont want slicks. Is there an affordable rim ,and radial that will bolt up, im looking at 15 or 16's, more or less is there any light cheap rim that is at least 7.5-8 wide. What dr brand would be good, not to aggresive, but handle some abuse. any ideas?

Get a couple 15" wheels off a Pontiac Montana mini van. They are very light.

not the lightest but im using some 16" bbs rims, w/ mickey thompson et street drag radials...they are 255/50/16..very nice hook up good...1.8's all day on a decent track...probably 1.7's with some heat and vht

isnt that a good width, how wide can i go on stock or the montana rims

With stock rims you can run up to a 9.5" wide tire.
